When you run into a ghost pepper, who ya gonna call?

I dont understand why? She’s very hot.

I grow hot peppers and make hot sauce, but I won’t grow peppers that need to be handled with GLOVES! Habenero is good enough.

She needs to restock her wine cellar. All of her boyfriends get one taste of her wines and they’re gone, and Hal was no different. For George, it was one sip of her Merlot. For John, it was her Sauvi.

And Hal, a Pinot.

Sure it starts hot, but it ends chili.

I don’t get it. I understand the term “ghost” with regard to dating, but I don’t understand what peppers have to do with it. Is there a pun that I’m missing?
