Krispy Kreme lemon filled doughnuts are to die for, and I probably would. Diabetes took my ability to enjoy them away decades ago. =/

The best donuts are home made… hot out of the cooker and freshly coated with powdered sugar. My mom used to make them for us when I was a kid (using whole wheat flour that we ground ourselves).
