This is like trying to get from Lorna Road to the Galleria on Max buses in Birmingham, AL. Riders have to take the bus from Hoover all the way downtown (12 miles) and change to the next Highway 31 bus and then go all the way back to the Hoover Galleria. At least an hour trip, if the bus does not break down or if traffic isn’t backed up. This is a particular difficulty for handicapped and elderly riders. Suggestion that has been ignored: Reverse the route around the Lorna Road /Hwy 31 loop every other trip to Hoover.
I LOVE shopping on line. Being able to find anything and everything without leaving the house is awesome! I just bought me a gym locker – couldn’t have found anything like that ’round here…
Just a little historical note. Debtor’s Prison wasn’t originally intended for people who couldn’t pay their debts; it was supposed to be for wealthy deadbeats who wouldn’t pay even though they had the money. The idea was to shame and humiliate them into paying their bills so that they could get out. Later, of course, it came to be used for middle-class people who’d spent more than they could afford and had no way to pay their debts.

Sorry, Broomie, but I don’t shop online because I have no confidence in the security of any website. There is no such thing as a secure site.
