I have one of those around here somewhere. Real handy to have as a Net control operator on a radio net… also useful when I was a club secretary once. I kept hand written notes during the nets and meetings but, in both cases, the tape made sure I didn’t miss anything when I typed up my logs & minutes afterward. I tried to learn shorthand in high school but that was one of the few classes I ever quit. Turns out the tape recorder was much easier (for me).
