I have a long driveway. Amazon refused to deliver to my house, leaving the package by the mailbox on the street, until we plowed it.

I saw a neighbor trying to shovel his driveway with a kitty litter scoop. He gave up after a few minutes. True story.

what is the point of being a witch and having lighting or other magic if not to use it for good?

Snow is always beatuful wo watch coming down, but a royal PITA when you have to put on a couple of winter coats and go out and shovel it! And God help you if you have a bad back!

In my late ‘60s, I broke down and bought an electric snow blower. Of course, if it doesn’t snow enough to need it, it won’t break my heart.

I like snow. As long as there is no rush, I enjoy shoveling (it gives me an excuse to be out and active).

She needs to conjure up a nice hot bolt or a giant hair dryer.

In Louisiana, we are learning to deal with floods, tornados, hurricanes, land loss, but this cold stuff has got to go!! It could briefly get above freezing sometime this afternoon, then back to the icebox. We probably have enough burst pipes around town to keep plumbers busy for a couple of months. We are not equipped or prepared. Remember, this is ‘South’ Louisiana! It was 80 something last Christmas.Merry Christmas everyone!

The real fun happens when you realize that the snow shovels are also in the shed.

I guess our area was blessed in that we never had more than 13" of snow, so no shoveling necessary. And we had some very steep roads to slide down. Those were happy times.

Chicagoland dodged the humongous blizzard that had been forecast (inaccurately) earlier in the week for this weekend, though we do have cold weather.

I share Broomie’s dislike of snow; when I was working in Ohio, I’d shovel my landlady’s walk and driveway for her, only to see the snowplow block up the driveway again as soon as I’d cleared it!
