Kids, like Calvin, are good problem detectors.

On the other hand, this reminds me of an episode of The Simpsons where Homer makes an “OK alarm”. It was like a smoke alarm, but it made a ringing noise to let you know that everything was OK. Eventually the alarm stopped ringing, because the battery died, ironically.

I see the glass half empty until I get ticked off AND SMASH IT INTO PIECES WITH A BASEBALL BAT! Then it’s empty.

    Sorry, emogothic moment.

But the glass is half full, anyway.

This is one of my favorite C&H comics. (Ignoring, of course, that she could just let a little water out of the tub.)

If only one could leave him to his own devices in the bath.

@fishbulb239 I think the point is Calvin wouldn’t be satisfied even if she were to do that :)

When I was a kid, My parents only filled it up to my umbilicus (belly button) and once I got a taste of the bathtub all the way full, I couldn’t get enough.

This is one my top 3 all-time favourites. Makes me laugh every time, but I’m not sure why. Watterson = genius
