hmm This reminds me of something but can quite put my finger on it, like something I’ve seen in US history class.

Hobbes has great spelling abilities. =o)

So if this is the case, what does this mean in the ways of Calvin’s state of mind haha. This must mean that at some point the Hobbs personality took over(Calvin’s body) and placed that sign down by the creek. This would indicate that Calvin has split personalities, it also proves a statement I made later on in the comic. That basically Hobbs is Calvin’s grown up and mature self(Hobbs) trying to pretty much help his(Calvin) adolescent self work toward growing up. Of course it is just a comic and I am probably way reading into this haha, but from a psychological stand point it seems logically sound.

Hobbes can’t spell his own name.

I love that Hobbes can’t spell his own name or the word “creek.” In fact, this is one of the very few times where Calvin shows more intelligence than Hobbes.

I have said time and again that maybe imagination becomes reality for some people and that’s how reality works for Calvin’s world.

You do know that is Calvin’s hand writing?
