Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for December 21, 1989
Transcript:
Calvin: Hi Dad. I'm making my own newspaper to report the events of our household. Would you help me out? Dad: Sure, what do you need? Dad: Well, you can take you pick. Either you can give me 15 bucks to pay my labor and production costs... Dad: 15 bucks?! Calvin: ...Or you can be the subject of a comic strip called "Dopey Dad." Clavn: So in the next panel, Dopey Dad yells, "It's bedtime for you, young man!" Hobbes: Hee hee! Look how big I made his mouth!
