reminds me of when i was a kid and being the youngest playing football in the back yard and thinking if i was only older i’d be running all over these guys:)
Is there any male out there who has not, at least once, played an imaginary game where they hit the winning home run, scored the winning touchdown or scored the overtime goal that won the game and the cup.
What Calvin needs to do is learn how to win once in a while against Hobbes.
@ wndrwrthg: You rock man! you are better than the comix themselves often as not ( but nobody tops C&H tho.
@Attyush; ever hear of a “liger” don’t wanna mess wit’dem
I once knew a guy that was so good at foosball, it was much like being Calvin playing Hobbes in Football. Once I got good enough to beat him, he mysteriously lost interest in playing me…hmmmmmm….
omer2009 says: this is classic, Bill must’ve been like calvin as a kid, with pet and stuff.
Actually, I was just reading BW’s tenth annivesary collection where he writes commentary on some of the comics, and states where some of the ideas came from, etc. and he says he was nothing like Calvin as a kid, and was rather sedate and meek, so go figure.

I like how Calvin’s imagination beats the heck out of him sometimes.

Calvin should play cricket, if he know what that is. He can catch from way back.

Tell a Tiger that there’s something that can’t be done and he’ll teach you a lesson you will not forget. Tigers rocks!
