I am curious to hear the answer from Iron Man. I feel anything as good as C&H is worth reading again. I have several of the Calvin and Hobbes books by Bill Watterson and never get tired of them.

Calvin has yet to figure out he doesn’t live in a republic – not within those four walls, anyway.

Who is this Iron Man everyone’s speaking of?

Your popularity just took a nose dive, Dad.

Good Morning, Marg, Mike & ♠Lonewolf♠

I have many fine comic collections on my coffee table and my question is this, "Why don’t women ever come back a second time? Do you think it could be my 6 foot stuffed Hobbes?

Iron Man must have written a comment that was deleted within a few hours, either by him or by GoComics. Note that when a comment is deleted, the automatic blue “@” references to that comment also disappear from later comments, sometimes making it hard to figure out who it is that posters are responding to. (Or, in the case of Puddleglum, to whom it is that posters are responding…)In this case, it looks like the blue “@Iron Man” reference disappeared from gmartin997’s comment. On the other hand, coldplague typed in “@Iron Man” in black, so that reference remains. So, I guess the conclusion is that when you respond to an inappropriate comment, it is better to type in the poster’s name, rather than hitting “Reply,” since the inappropriate comment may be deleted later.

When it comes to dads, the important polls are how the kids turn out as adults, not the immediate response. Don’t give in to that little George Gallup.

If Calvin shows Mom his usual charm she will shooch him outside and do the dishes herself. Calvin wins again.

As the famous political stump goes:

    “POT FOR EVERY CHICKEN!!!”

(Errrrr, that would be the “Green” Party’s political slogan!!)

Calvin the lawyer/politician getting in a little practice. Also, I find it interesting that the covering for Dad’s chair bears an odd resemblance to the pajamas worn by his mother during the winter, but, then again, I’m an old guy and what do I know?

I wonder what kind of “push” Calvin had in mind? Well, whatever it was, it certainly wasn’t being told to help his mom with the dishes!

Maybe dad could get higher polls if he let Calvin watch T.V. until midnight. (not a chance, Calvin)
