Anybody else tie the tooth to a doorknob and have somebody slam the door?

Every one of my deciduous teeth falling out was a traumatic experience! I’m in my 50’s, and I still have nightmares about all my teeth falling out. I guess I was a child who took the whole thing a bit too rough.

Don’t swallow it or the Tooth Fairy won’t bring you a quarter

She’ll bring you a quarter if you wait for the…uh…well…you know.

When it comes out, Calvin won’t be comfortable with the idea of holding a piece of his head in his hand.

Calvin thinks his tooth that is falling out is really cool! His parents, and pet tiger Hobbes, are less impressed. They are all just jealous.

That was soooo cool when I was 7. Now it’s a failed root canal and having the bad boy pulled, not quite the same. Good 4th to all!

haha, I remember those days. I thought a tooth hung by a thread was the coolest thing. I hope I can still remember that when my own child gets to be that age.

That happen when I was 9

I have dreams where I can take my teeth out, clean them and put them back in… Oh, wait!!

Had that happen to me when I was little. Had the have the tooth pulled by the dentist.

Happy 4th to all… The comments were more comical than the comic and stirred memories of ‘the days’ 70+ years ago. Us kids turned out quite handsome after the yankings, Dimes and quarters were the trade of the day and were wildly excited about the gifts from the tooth fairy, even though they were executed by string and a door-slamming earlier that day..Good times..good times…

@RoadTrip3500: Dad was a Dentist. Even hint at a loose baby tooth and….

He told me that if I didn’t take care of ‘em, I’d not have any by the time I grew up. Fooled him, but, come to think of it, I only have about six left at 68….
