Calvin doesn’t want to die alone.

Don’t disappear again please. I was worried that you may have given in to despair and/or joined Calvin and Hobbes to go where no Gan has gone before.

Dear Everyone: I am getting into a time machine box and going back to the 80’s to start reading C&H from the beginning again. It was fun to read your daily comments and this is quite a diverse family here. However it is difficult when some only try to post first or post for the sake of posting and don’t think of saying something funny or meaningful. Think of what Watterson tried to do (entertain or provoke thought) and try to follow suit. Bring something to the table from your own gift (here and in life) and leave a good, thoughtful trail with your name on it. That’s all we can do. Be a good blessing and make them laugh or make them think. My dial is set for Watterson in the 80’s, my goggles are on and my good friends are next to me…see you at the next stop!

Janeway didn’t need any goggles, and Kirk just didn’t look directly into the sun when slinging around it.

In a strange, meta kind of way, Calvin did make it to the future. :)

Safety first – the timestream can get pretty turbulent – better fasten your seatbelts too!

Uh oh . . . demerits for Calvin demeaning Hobbes by calling him a “sissy”. Good thing this is a “classic” strip, or else it would have to be pulled down, right?

In the FUTURE, I’m going to look back on this strip and smile. That’s something I can predict.
