Mom: Would you like to come with us? Dad: Where? Mom + Cathy: Shopping! Dad + Irving: Shopping for what? Mom: For all the things that are on sale. Dad: There are sales? Mom: You've been reading the paper for an hour and you didn't see sales?? Dad: No. I didn't see sales. Did you see sales? Irving: No. Mom + Cathy: There are sales on every page! How could you not notice sales?? How can you be completely oblivious to something that's right in front of you?? Dad: Sorry. I guess we always just concentrate on the sports section. Cathy + Mom: There's a sports section?
