I would say that today, it’s much worse. Technology has advanced so far now, that many people seem to have no life at all. Just look around you. Everyone is on their smart phones and ignoring you.

Yup—technology can be a blessing or a curse, depending on how you use it and what mood it’s in at a given time.
As for smart phones, I’ve had several over for years, but only really used texting and the camera on them. They’re nice to have, though.
