When I worked at the Hyatt house in Richmond, I remember how upset the European chefs would get when they had to figure out a dinner for 500 people using a recipe that was measured In cups, spoons, pints, etc.

F to C F-32 then divide by 9 and multiply by 5. EX. 212 – 32 = 180. 180/9 = 20 20 × 5 = 100
C to F Divide by 5 then multiply by 9 and then add 32 EX. 100/5 = 20 20 × 9 + 180 180 + 32 = 212.
Fun fact -40C = -40F -40/5 = -8 (-8) -32 = -40
