as a matter of fact, that was my basset and I yesterday morning …and since we wound up where we started, it was the journey, not the destination…

I really love this strip. When I read it I was wondering if this was how he ended the strip.

I immediately got that uh-oh feeling, too, guys. Nighthawks, it’s not that we don’t like this wonderful strip, it’s that we never want CD to end!! (And it’s all the worse because we know it does. Did.)

I thought this was one of the better Citzen Dog ‘toons!

I think (but not 100% sure) that the final Citizen Dog had Mel and Fergus on the dock watching the sunset.
