Don’t own a Kindle, Ipad, Iphone, etc. Don’t want them either. Although my original Nokia cell phone isn’t made anymore, nor the battery for it, so if it ever konks out, I will have to break down and get a new cell phone. Hope that never happens!
@ DryI hear you! If I didn’t win the iPad, I’d never have purchased it! Still can’t get it to work! LOL And, I still have a flip phone. Every time my cell becomes obsolete, I get the next basic one with no frills. I really don’t want any phone that’s smarter than me!
Good morning all you CD kids. What the future is so bright Mel has to wear shades?.I know you all don’t agree with me on this, but I love books on my iPad. I can read them anywhere (inside and outside), my hand doesn’t cramp up holding open a 900 pg book. I don’t have to wait in line at the store for my purchase, my kid can’t pick it up and loose my page(it has a bookmark function). Plus I have over 50 books all in one place instead of all over the house. I even have the classics and kids books on here. I never thought I would like this thing or read a book on it, but all I can say is don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. Oh and the coolest feature is the built in dictionary. If I come across a word I don’t know, all I have to do is touch it. Does not work for foreign words though. But then I just go online and look it up at the press of a button.
We have an iPad, 3 iPods, a laptop and LilG has an iPhone. I have a Motorola flip phone and I only use it for phone calls. I used to have an Audiovox phone which I never would have gotten rid of, because it got a signal where no new phone does because it had antenna and it chose from three types of signals. I had to get a new cellphone though when we were traveling and I needed a phone to pick up the Internet with.

I have my iPad, but I prefer my computer. And I still prefer books. I like my collections to be tangible.

While I sometimes read a book on my iPod, I still prefer paperbacks. And for those I have a █████ paperback book holder.
