Ernie is constantly practicing his swing in the living room. That’s why I watch TV in the kitchen or bedroom — he’s come close to wiping out the TV and the ceiling fan a few times. Makes me crazy….

Thanks for the funny computer pics which both pretty much summed up how I feel right about now — don’t know whether to kick the “machines” out of the house, or just bang my head in frustration. Ernie says, “We need the new router installation CD!” I don’t have a clue as to where that might be…don’t even recall there being one!

Thanks for your “good luck” wishes! Shika, I keep introducing the laptop to the router, but they both turn their heads and want nothing to do with one another! Prima donnas, both of them!!

Hopefully, by this evening, we’ll be back to our normal, grumpy selves and not hyper-grumpy beasts blaming each other for the fix we’re in! Years ago I had a small portable TV with a collapsible antenna. I got so mad and frustrated while trying to get good reception, that I yanked the antenna and broke it in half.Good morning to all of the TV deconstructionists of Citizens of dog.

Good morning CD kids. Hope everyone is gearing up for a great day..Takes me back to the days when you had to be rough with the TV. Horizontal or vertical not holding, just find that sweet spot and bang. All fixed. I guess things were built sturdier back then..StelBel do not try the old ways with your computer. For they are rather sensitive and dainty frustration machines. Good luck.

Wili Nilli and StelBel, Tim is Tim Tebow, a Christian NFL quarterback. Google him and you will see. As for Willi Nilli, this strip is in repeats, and Tim was probably in grade school when this strip first aired. Tebowing wasn’t even around then. :-)

I mean how could it possibly be as cool as the unearthly world you posted yesterday. as a matter of fact I wanna go there!..now, if you were referring to the strange world in my skull that posts those curious pictures that I post, then that would be a trip of futility and frustration and just plain weirdness that not many folks can travel on without their sanity coming into question, if not serious doubt.here is my world, which I adopted from my favorite artist’smost famous painting , labeled (not coincidentally) Nighthawks:’

I think we did something similar (who is this “we”, I just stood by for moral support.). Anyway, I think Ernie uninstalled the router completely, then reinstalled the program, and changed all the user names and PW’s. But, there was something else that had to be done, as well…? I’m not sure what. But, the bottom line is everything seems to be OK , and I’ve been joking that we’re faster than the speed of light now. However, truth be told? We really don’t see any appreciable difference in speed. It was pretty fast before. I think Verizon sensed that what we really needed was more frustration in our lives! Thanks, again, neighbor!

nighthawks I have always loved that painiting but my favorite version is the one Steve Skelton used at 2 Cows and a Chicken where he inserted Cow, Cow, and Chicken into it. I can’t remember now whether Jack was in that one at that point in time. (Jack being the donkey in the strip.) That is one of the VERY BEST, MAKE THAT THE BEST strips out there.

Ok…I think an even 10 posts in a row should do it for now. Phew! Got that out of my system! LOL

It was a yard day again for me, but I got some reading in. It was a beautiful day!

Whew what a day. Aaakkkkkk!! The gremlins are running amuck in my house. Yesterday morning the main satellite receiver refused to come on, after 45 min with the tech, we decided it was dead. All the kids movies on the DVR would be gone. Ordered a new receiver, later cancelled it when the box decided to start working again. This morning the old bedroom TV gave a final death pop when I tried to turn that on. Dropped off the vacuum that wouldn’t spin the brushes thinking it was just a belt (that would be too easy right?) Apparently a Dyson has 2 motors and the brush motor is dead. I can vacuum again in 2 weeks maybe. Now the washer is starting to make a funny noise. Aaaakkkk!! Anybody know how to get rid of gremlins? Oh well, tomorrow is another day. Good night kids.
