Spam is very high in sodium and fat, but if you can stomach the taste, there’s nothing wrong with eating it every once in a while.

a good morning to my frends here…i posted an open letter, that i posted to my frends and family on Facewbook this morning. i posted it as a result of an attack on me by the wife of a cousin of mine. its on last nights Citizen Dog at the bottom.if i am not here a lot today its because a nephew of mine is coming to sit with mom, so i can go grocery shopping.another nephew is also coming today to bring me a wheel chair.i will probably check in this afternoon/evening.as a result of last nights ugliness i an highly upset an more than a little bit frightened. i don’t need well meaning, miss guided authority figures looking to do me harm, or take mom from me because of a knee jerk reaction by a person i have never met. ( a cousins wife.)

I’ll pass on the Twinkies, but I do enjoy Spam once in a while. I would enjoy it more often but I know it’s not good for you. :-(

WOW HAPPY! I just went back and read what you posted! You poor soul! I won’t even type what I think of the cousin’s wife. And sometimes, people get fussy about what they eat, especially people with Alzheimers. If your mom will eat Spam as opposed to no food at all, then so be it. At least she ate.I kind of can sympathize. My mom’s sister, my aunt, went after me all the time about this and that, why didn’t I do something this way, “find your mother a new doctor, this one’s no good” despite the fact that my mom and this Doctor were collegues for YEARS, and mom trusted him, and so did I, because I knew he would take care of his Josie!, wrote me nasty letters, etc. She knew best, even though she lived 3 hours away and visited a couple times a year for a couple of hours and that was it. Once mom couldn’t travel with her anymore she stopped coming down so much. And of course no nieces or nephews bothered either. My dad’s neice and husband were enormous help to me, and they were only related by marriage to my mom.There’s lots more, but I will stop. I have years of resentment for my so called aunt, starting back when I was just a little girl, but that’s in the past and mom is gone so I’m done with that. It does still stay with you, I will tell you that. You just can’t let it beat you down. You know you are doing the best you can, and to he!! with what the so called “advice givers” think.

AND I WOULD STOP USING FB TOO! I don’t trust it and I wish I could convince some others here and elsewhere not to use it.

May I ask happy, are the nephews coming as a result of your comments on FB or because they are just good nephews and want to help and have been doing so?

we had Spam because i have not bin able to go out to shop. my sisters family has some issues, and were out of town for two days. thank god i HAD the spam, or last night would have ben meatless. a nephew is going to come sit with mom today so i can go do a big grocery shopping.i wont give up fb altogether. i have people i still want to keep in touch with in Havasu on it. and my best friend. and his wife. and my god daughter. fb makes it easer to keep in touch with LOVED ones. i am going to start purging my “frends” list on fb.that letter i posted here and on my fb timeline was the start of my winnowing proceses.thanks to all YOU guys.

It’s like once you’ve sucked out the creamy center of an Oreo, what are you left with? Two boring biscuits – more garbage can filler!

Oh and that’s right don’t do it. I never eat and drink at the same time, so the creamy centers would help the boring stuff go down. Even a jelly donut isn’t quite the same when the jelly’s been sucked (or squirted) out.
