I have it on good authority that Columbus’ dog , while implying that he went clear around the world (even across that pesky Pacific ocean), in reality, simply circled behind the viewer and brought back the ball.I know. I know…it’s disheartening to realize we have been disillusioned, but it’s better to find out now than later, when our crushed realizations will come home to haunt us, condemning us to years of therapy
