Poor Fergus, I can feel the humiliation. If I have to speak to more than a few people at a time, that’s it. Tongue is hopelessly tied. Blushing ensues, the only thing i don’t do is drool. Thank God!
Good morning to you, too!Sorry to hear you’re laid up, but glad that you’re healing! And, glad to hear Spot is OK! Be careful with the exercise regimen right now! You don’t want to make matters worse. Hope you continue to heal well and that you and Spot will be in tip-top shape for the rest of the summer and beyond!!! Take good care!
Good morning Fellow Baby, cleo, sugie and all the tongue tied Citizens of Dog. I am terrible at speaking in public. Once in 10th grade I got up in front of the class to give a book report, and I literally froze. I couldn’t say a word. I was so embarrassed! Same thing happened a couple of years ago when we had a workshop seminar with our directors and my co-workers. :-( But they love me anyway! I think! LOL!
Good Morning Citizen’s of Dags and suffering canine presenters.Coming from a long line of public speakers on both sides of the family, i have no trouble speaking in public. What I have trouble with is keeping quiet in public, lol
StelBel, that photo makes my tongue hurt! lolChefWen you are not alone in not liking public speaking. I am in the minority it would appear. I’m happy speaking to a crowd. It is speaking to people in private that makes me nervous.
I used to be extremely shy, but then my parents bought a small country grocery store and having to wait on customers made me much more gregarious. Then I went on to teach photography and so now I can get up and speak without Amy qualms at all.

If they could vote, they could run for office.
GROG Premium Member over 11 years ago
It would certainly make my decision much easier.

i don’t use a mike either. as a trained chorister, I learned to project my voice. For a small person, I have a big voice.

If dogs could vote, we would have some honest politicians for once. Dogs know good character when they see it. Cats do too.
