The future is looking dim….I just looked ahead and saw the rest of the week will be election-related. It will be a challenge to try and keep political comments out of the CD forum. Good luck, everybody!

But Bush is for instigating wars so he can be a “wor prezzydent,” and suck up to his daddy. Clear choice.

True, StelBel. That song doesn’t get much air play these days – not even on the classic rock stations.

I recorded a number of such songs today.

I’m glad you both enjoyed it as much as I did. I do like some of the Moody Blues albums. I have this one and a lot of their early stuff on This Is the Moody Blues.*

Knights In White Satin is probably their most popular song.

Within the last couple of weeks, anyway.

And though I do hear Tuesday Afternoon on XM, I do hear Knights In White Satin more often. I also like the Long Distance Voyager album with Gemini Dream, The Voice & Talking Out Of Turn.

I don’t think I ever disliked anything they did.They probably were my introduction to progressive rock.

I am watching some man walking across a zipline in the Grand Canyon on the Discovery Channel. It’s live and he is praising God all the way. I would have fallen off at the first one or two steps and been history! Of course, I wouldn’t have had the b@lls to that in the first place!

Fellow Baby, he’s one of the Flying Wallendas. I read about him the other day. I hope that his family will still have him around when it’s over.

With my fear of heights, I can’t even watch that. And I posed for a picture just a few feet from certain death back in 98 on the south side, I think it was. Just before Christmas.

I can’t believe I did that.

Yes Fellow Baby, it was Nik Wallenda. I didn’t know

anything about it, but youngest watches the Discovery Channel on his 37" Vizio tv that he bought from his earnings at KFC when he was in High School. We watched it with him, and then I realized it was one of the Wallendas. His one son, when they interviewed Nik after the walk, was in the background and he looked like he wishes his Dad would stop doing this stuff. Can’t blame him really.
