My sister, who has an ol’, one-eyed Pug named Dozer , is soon going to be welcoming this little guy into the household, and we thought you’d get a kick out of his first formal portrait:

His name is Murdock and he’ll be arriving on the twelfth from Tennessee from the same rescue place that I got Max.

I hope you’re feeling better and better as each day goes by, Linda. We miss you!!! And, Ruth….you’re a peach! Bless both of you!

I love the comic today but also really love your redo. Funny stuff! Like your cat picture too. I also did not get Rabbits Against Magic yesterday. I guess we are all dense if we don’t understand even when the cartoonist explains it.

As for the comic – poor Mel. I’m sure he is thinking ‘just shut up Fergus, just shut up. Why, oh why, do I have to have a talking dog’.

StelBel, I left a comment for you at Ten Cats, and that was from me and not Linda, however, she did ask me last night if I was posting pugs for you and rabbits for Happy Happy Happy, and I had to tell her I hadnt posted anything anywhere except updates. She just said when you have time, so before I go walk George and get some chocolates at the candy store for the brownies I am making to take to her and her visitors, I am posting some for you. I want to be able to tell her I posted when I show her the printouts of todays comments. She is going to adore Murdock!

Happy Happy Happy, Linda also said you are doing great work, but that she hopes you get time off soon. She also said to ask you how your Sweetheart was doing. She had to explain to me that Sweetheart is a dog you rescued. You Sir, are a great person in both our books!

Thanks!! As much as I love his formal portrait, I can’t wait to get some new pictures of him…hopefully, funny ones so we can make our own memes! LOL

(You might think I was the one getting Murdock, and not my sister! But, if past experience holds true again, he’ll be over my house a lot , including overnights!)

DAZZ, from last night, my mother died in Sept. 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina. My father died in 2009, one week to the same date my mom died in 2005. My dad would have been 101 tomorrow. My dad was 40 when I was born. He was in great shape, physically and mentally. Then he fell in the breezeway and hit his head. He died about a month later from pneumonia at the hospital.
