Trees can be deceiving when you cut one down. We never realized how big it was until we had to fight to pull it through the front door. It then crushed our stand so I had to buy one made of concrete with a 1/4” steel insert and the tree was still so heavy that we had to screw a hook into the wall and use a rope to make it stand upright . The next morning we found a mouse nest hidden in the branches. Then when we took the tree down, it was even harder to get it out of the house and needles that had dried were pulled off the tree and lay in piles inside and outside the doorway.
