regarding yesterday’s strip. i actually went trick or treating as a referee one year (when i was a wee lad, just thinking of starting my career). year’s later, when i was an actual referee, i did a game on a Hallowe’en night and claimed my uniform was a costume (to some amusement from the fan club).
