If you learn to turn a dinky shot into a power shot, just think what you’ll be able to do when you have a power shot to work with. When I was growing up we had an old pool table in our basement, it was full of hills and valleys so I had to learn to anticipate how the balls would roll, and the cushions were like rocks so I had to power my shots to get any kind of rebound. I played on that table for hours every day, then one day I was playing someone on a good table, it took me half a game to learn how to use the cushions and flat table top, and after that I was able to use all the skills from my years of playing on a bad table to clear the table.
