Unenforced law in Ct. They are still texting while they run over the pregnant grandma pushing a baby carriage.

as long as the vehicle is in motion or on a roadway and not parked , texting while driving is a traffic offense

in the past 6 months there have been at least 10 accidents caused primarily by texting including several fatalities

Wasn’t there already a law that covers texting while driving? I’m thinking Inattentive Driving covers texting and a whole lot of other things.

It’s not “natural selection” when a 17 year old girl too busy texting to stop at a red light killed my co-worker last month

I would love to see all cell phone use by the driver banned in every state. The only exception is if you were talking to 911 while following a impaired driver to get them off the road.
