If each of the cups pivot independently on the rod, it would work just fine - but be enormously cumbersome, ugly and take up WAY too much room on your desk! Why not just put 1/2 the water and 1/2 the coffee in your existing 10-cup coffee maker and, when the pot is empty, you’re done?
