An old friend is a social worker and about 10 years ago her teenage daughter was ranting that her mom was just “horrid, you are an abuser”. Friends response, took her to the local children’s home for one of the open counseling sessions. On the way out her daughter hugged her and told her she was a good mom.

I whined like that when I was a kid when it came to certain foods. Now, I can eat stuff like that with the exception of “Liver & Onions” and “Chiterlins (Chit-lins or Pig Intestines)!” Yuck!
