I don’t get it.

Go Pluggers! Why support the illogical pronunciation? How would you pronounce Doncaster (town)? In England they pronounce it Doncaaahster. Why on earth?

Let’s not forget Wooster, MA. (Worcester)

Out in the northwest corner of Connecticut, the locals pronounce the name of the town Norfolk as “Nor-Fork.” I’va always thought of it as a case of lazy-mouth.

It’s not? And all this time I was wondering why an Abbey would be in the middle of downtown.

I am a Plugger, and I LOVE Downton Abbey. Would be much happier if Duck Dynasty and Hoarders went off the air. Those two shows are a waste of good TV time.

For goodness sake people, it’s a comic strip, just laugh!!

I think it is amazing. Maggie Smith – first she is mother superior on all of the Sister Act movies, Then she is a Witch on all of the Harry Potter movies. From a nun to a witch, and now she is a really old rich woman. Wonderful…..

My mother used to get irritated at that one; when we would hear something on the news about it, and they (as usual) mispronounced it, she would snap, “It’s Wimbledon!”
