    Thank you Mr. Peterson, you are so very correct! People have turned into slobs. I keep a garbage container in my car and use it for stuff I generate and empty it at home. I would pick up some of the stuff on a walk, but fear of needles keeps that idea at bay. Fast food suppliers like McDonald’s should have to pick up their own garbage like they did when they first opened years and years ago. Morning and night an employee used to pick up their garbage in a 2 block radius of their store. Much neater then.

    My family lived beside a corner grocery store when I was growing up. People bought junk food and tossed the wrapper in my yard, even when I was standing there. I asked one person why. He just tossed his garbage in my yard and looked at me as if to say, ‘what can you do about it?’. I had to pick it up is what. Guess who else doesn’t litter. I am Canadian also
