Scale: Ha. Laura: Where are you going in such a hurry? Adam: Bed, bath and beyond. To get a new scale. Laura: A bathroom scale? Adam: Yes. Ours is broken. Laura: Um...really? It was fine this morning. Adam: Okay. Maybe not broken, but it's developing an attitude. Laura: The scale has an attitude? Adam: Yeah, it puts the numbers up all like "Nyah, a bit high, isn't it?" Laura: In a british accent? Adam: Well, that part's implied, obviously.

The scale must be the same kind that Garfield uses.

As a matter of fact, Tanita does make a scale that gives you your Body Mass Index and your hydration levels, as well as your weight. Consistency is more important than accuracy; it you step on a scale three times in two minutes and it says 185 every time, it’s OK, even if you don’t like the number. If it says, 185, 180 and 190, THEN you need a new scale.

I avoid using the scale…It’s just full of lies, anyway!

my scale seems to be broken. It keeps changing from week to week. Sometimes up (Boo!) and sometimes down. (yeah!)
