Phoebe: Marigold? Are you very old?
Marigold: "Old" is relative. I am younger than stars... But OLDER than the pizza at the back of your refrigerator.
Phoebe: Even so, ew.
I have seen the first stars born and then die in a flash of brief illumination, and I have seen the planets form, the seas spread across the barren void of land, and the mountains rise and crumble to dust, I have seen the first life crawl out of the oceans, and all mighty trees grow from the humblest of seeds, but I have yet to see a unicorn dance the merengue
That silliness reminded me of this:“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time… like tears in rain…”
Philip K. Dick is one of my top 3 writers, I first read ‘Do Androids Dream’ in the the hot, hot summer of 1978 and was instantly hooked, the movie that came along a few years later was sadly rated too high for me to watch at first and I first saw it 6 years later and loved it too, one of the best book to films ever.

One star I’m younger than, for instance, is Rich Little.

To put it more simply, she’s somewhere between 20 and death.

Pizza does not last long in my refridgerator. That jar of pickled eggs on the other hand, I can’t even remember what year I got those.

It’s always good to know your age in relation to the stars. Keeps you “Forever Young”! ;-)

I’m at the point where I wish I could give as vague an answer as that.

I wouldn’t be so sure if that pizza is so young.

I’m as old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth.
