Our cat was like that. If he didn’t want to be petted he’d flatten himself as much as possible. If he was already lying down, it was a sight to see—totally boneless.
My former neighbor had a cat who would act like she wanted to be petted. But, when someone reached down to pet her, she would roll on her back and threaten to bite and scratch the hand.
