Weird Katie? Terrible. For worse than having to wipe your bum at the toilet. Nothing gets cleaned, it just gets dirtier.

Perhaps the cartoonists could take a page from the “World champion” Tee shirt production and do one strip for either outcome.

Very clever! They have to do these strips several weeks ahead so they don’t know who won. I like how they blocked out the name with their heads.

I’m trying to imagine the conversation if they really knew at the time. A lot expletives included, I’m sure.

I voted for Hillary, but Trump has announced that he is replacing Obamacare with single payer, which is what Canada has. That’s what Democrats started out trying to accomplish and wound up with Obamacare because the Republicans listened to the drug and insurance companies and blocked single payer. We don’t know what Trump is going to do, and I seriously suspect that he doesn’t either. I know that he knows that more than half of Americans didn’t vote for him, and if he wants to get reelected (questionable) he can’t be taking health care away. He actually will have to do what voters want. Most voters— like in the 60-70% range want the things advocated by Democrats to be domestic policy, if they are presented without a party label on them. Trump can be a beloved president rather easily. He just has to propose the things voters want and get the tea party and Democrats in congress to vote for it. The establishment Republicans will explode, but there aren’t enough of them to do much damage.

Anybody old enough to remember the Mad Magazine right after the Kennedy/Nixon election? One cover congratulated Kennedy, flip the magazine over and the “other” cover congratulated Nixon!
