She’s tried to throw out those pants three times already, but he keeps rescuing them.

Really, though…. maybe she’s thinking of how much better they’d look cut into Christmas placemats.

OK…. maybe not better…

Ugly pants, ugly placemats.

I thought they’d look nicer…."

And then thrown out,

but irretrievably damaged and unwearable…

And I hear Dennis has some much nicer plaid in his window right now.

Wait until she realizes that he’s watching John Daly on the Golf Channel, and is considering buying some pants with MUCH louder patterns.

She’s probably wondering how she married a guy with such a checkered past.

Or maybe it’s time to take down the screens and put up the storm windows.

The scary thing is that Priscilla bought them for him. But as in all cases….it is Herkimer’s fault.

Herk makes a better door than a window !

He always stops to watch something on television right in front of Pris.

He always blocks her view, just at the most exciting moment in the show.

If there were ever a case of justifiable husbandicide, thinks Priscilla, this would be it !

Van update.

Well, not much to report. Since i lost Richard there has not been as much need to use the van, at least not on a daily basis like i was. My bigest users has been a couple of nice little old ladies that have either needed a ride home from the hospital or rides two and from a Dr. appointment.

My biggest concern since winter has been the issue of mold and mildew. Since I’m not warming up the interior on a regular basis that is a real threat. That issue ruined the interior of a pickup truck that i used to have.

.

So, i decided that it was necessary to clean out the garage and make room for the van. The van itself was instrumental in making that happen. I used it to haul furniture that i have no need of or space for to the Habitat for Humanity retail store. And, boxes and boxes full of “stuff” to the Goodwill store, and a resale store that donates to the local Animal Shelter.

The van is now in the garage, and i have a small heater and a chemical de-humidifer in it. That should protect it from the humidity.

I have yet to put the “In Memoriam” in the back window. Its next. I have been working six and seven days a week, struggling to keep my hours up to 40, and working in the garage to find the time to get to a graphics shop. It will most likely be sometime in January.

She’s tired of his plaiditudes.

This one made me laugh. I agree with Linguist – she’s trying to watch a show when plaid came into her vision. She’s not tickled pink polka dots at the moment.

What she can’t resolve is that dead men don’t wear plaid…
