Let’s see. Andy supports the brewery industry on a regular basis. Also, the sports care industry is quite busy dealing with the bruises and contusions suffered by Andy’s rugby opponents. Also, don’t forget that Andy almost nightly entertains the fish with his swimming exhibitions.

Andy Capp and ‘good behavior’ don’t belong in the same sentence.

In one classic Andy Capp comic, Flo says “There must be a lot of good in ’im, very little of it comes out!” (I’m paraphrasing, of course.)

How about those long hours when he’s asleep on the couch? It may not be “good” behavior, but at least he isn’t out getting drunk and causing trouble.
