I appreciate it when I see small dust devils in person. I like my tornadoes the way I like my earthquakes. I like ’em small if I have to have them at all.
Most of the things I was afraid of as a kid no longer scare me. Tornados may be the one exception. They still scare the crap out of me. Only one I ever saw was a ‘water spout’ off the coast of Oak Island NC a few years back. We could tell it was heading ‘out’ but it was still un-nerving to look at it.
