It was 53 yesterday and warmer today (58). So nice!
I have my annual eye doctor appointment today. My vision is not that good, so we’ll see what the doc has to say about that. Probably a good clean up and polishing will do it.
I made a breakfast sausage quiche for dinner last night. Man was that good! Mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. Yum! There’s even some leftovers for breakfast in a few days.
We had our bible study yesterday, without our hostess. She’s had another relapse in her cancer recovery. She gave our teacher a key to the house, but even that wasn’t needed because she left the house unlocked again in her haste to get to the doctor. Please pray for Debie.
Chris, how is your friend Jana doing? Have you heard anything? She is still on our prayer list.
We’re meeting with a pre-planning consultant at the local mortuary this afternoon. We’ve agreed that we need to be sure things are taken care of before they are needed. We don’t anticipate any need any time soon, but it’s better to lock in the price now then force Mike to pay even higher prices when the time comes.
Speaking of Mike, he’s graduating from his leadership training program on Friday. It is the number one program in the US for preventing prison recidivism. They will help him find a job and provide a mentor for him to keep the right attitude about working and being around other folks. When he gets out of prison he will become a mentor himself. He’s really excited about it.
The weather is roughly the same as yesterday: 50’s right now and around 80 for a high.
Nothing much happening here today. The weather is cloudy and 64 and not supposed to get much warmer. A pleasant fall day overall. My biggest project today is to finalize my shopping list for tomorrow.

Sunny, the forecast says and there is sunlight illuminating the ridge on the other side. A high of only 59 predicted for today. Cool man. (^.^)
