This is one of those great strips from the past. Seven panels, humorous dialogue and each panel has it’s own poses of the characters, complete with facial expressions.
This is the old Vaudeville routine. I remember seeing Dean Martin and Phil Silvers do a version of it years ago on Dean’s show. A fellow comes out with an old suitcase and the other man asks where is he going. He replies he is taking his case to court. Then later the man walks out with a ladder and says he lost so he is taking the suit to a higher court. Eventually he walks out wearing a barrel because he no longer has any clothes and says that the appeal failed and he completely lost his suit.
