Calvin sure doesn’t socialize with others who aren’t Hobbes very well.

Yet another one of Calvin’s speeches that means nothing.

Direct hit with a snowball looks like a pretty good connection with another person.

Susie takes snowballs so literally ….

To paraphrase the trite saying, you can’t have a deep connection with others until you have a deep connection with yourself.

Did Calvin ever try to market this activity as an inherently motivating aerobic exercise program?

Calvin has been getting in some lucky shots at Susie, about 10 days ago he blasted her with a “bowling ball” sized snowball, of course that was under the façade of Stupendous Man. Normally he does not have this kind of luck, she is usually a few steps ahead of him.

And children, thus endeth another lesson of – “Wisdom according to Hobbes”

As (Thomas) Hobbes said: “Homo hominis lupus”

Heads up means he wants to splatter the snow over her face more firmly. This sarcastic kid is obnoxious. Happy to see Susie’s response

There’s one, big man-woman relationship. What else does anyone need? :-)

I’m sorry, but Suzie getting clobbered is funny. He knocked her gloves off her hands.

I think Calvin eventually will become another Trump—selfish and narcissistic.

Calvin is his own worst enemy, then then again, so is humanity.

Hobbes’s last line sounds like it could have been written by the original Hobbes.

In my theater days, “heads up” meant “Look out before that 150 lb + stage batten, which is plunging at a rate of 32 ft per second squared from a height of 60 feet hits you in the head.”

A few years later, when I went to radio broadcasting, “heads up” meant “I am about to go live, so everybody kindly shut the @#$% up!” Nobody at the station could understand why I would flinch and look up whenever somebody said that…

It’s as if Calvin is completely unaware of his own actions.

Several days ago, talking with a friend who works with homeless people getting them safe housing, and how much he loves his work, when he interrupted our phone conversation to yell at some poor soul on the San Diego freeway “Hey, you dumb f*****r, move your stupid a*****e! Idiot! Now, where was I?”

If you meet an a*****e, then you met one. If everyone is an a*****e, then you’re the a*****e

Yes, Calvin, people — ahem ahem — are certainly scum.
