I’ve got several pairs like that.

As kids, if a pair of our jeans had gotten a hole, they were discarded as unwearable outside the house.

Anyone else remember when they were called dungarees?

Unfortunately, my jeans always developed holes around the upper thigh first.

Why does a bikini cost as much as a complete, head-to-toe ensemble?

Back in the day, jeans were ripped front AND back. Now it’s just the front. Styles change.

I remember my mom taking tattered clothes like those and making them into a nice Hobo outfit for me for Halloween. The weather was chilly that year, and it kind of spoiled the whole thing when my thermal underwear was visible beneath them.

Do different designers mutilate their jeans in different patterns? Could you tell a Ralph Lauren tear from a Tommy Hilfiger rip?

Can’t understand why people wear clothes that have that homeless look. I’m sure the homeless don’t find it amusing to be mocked.
