We actually have a family doctor who feels that he needs to respect his patience time so he does not overbook and mostly keeps on schedule. It is very refreshing!
I used to go to a clinic that had a time limit per patient. Patients were urged to limit their ailments to two per visit and the doctors were given fifteen minutes per patient.
This is why you take a knitting project with you to anywhere where you know you’re going to have to sit and wait. Or a good book. It’s nobody else’s job to entertain you.

My previous family doctor just retired, so I found a new one – a Chinese woman younger than my children.

It’s the hurry and don’t be late syndrome, but the Doctor is always a little behind on his scheduled appointments syndrome!!!

What I don’t get is, how can they be an hour late for an 8 AM appointment?

He’s lucky – I used to have a doctor that made me wait in an exam room for over an hour on a regular basis

Solemn truth for a doctor’s office: “Hurry up get there on time, then wait short of forever.”
