Charlie Brown stands on the snow-covered lawn outside the house in his skis watching Patty strap hers on. He says,"I'm ready if you are..."<BR><BR> As they ski along the field, she says,"This is harder than it looks"<BR><BR> He looks back at her and say, "Don't worry, Patty...I think it'll be easier going once we get out in the country"<BR><BR> She stands with the front end of her skis stuck in the sewer. She retorts,"Well, I hope so!"<BR><BR>

Just lay straight back and go in.

These early strips had so much more detail and shading. Until he developed the basic lines of each. character. Interesting.
