The weird thing is, the company that owned and liquidated Blockbuster is still traded (for 0.12 Cents or 0.0012 USD, the price hasn’t changed since January), so you could still sort of buy Blockbuster stock.
I would love to see the percentage of people who read this strip (or any comics that started out in printed newspapers) who are even aware of “stonks” on reddit. It seems like it would be a small number, but I don’t really know.
