    @Number Three Today’s strip Is funny the one thing stopping our HERO Mr Andrew Capp is the sound of a beer can opening is classical :o) my avatar is a spoof of a middle aged guy who thinks he’s God’s gift to women being slammed down by a clever younger lass, how was your day? ours should be quite calm, no shopping or errands to run just stay inside the house and keep hydrated till this evening when the greengrocer van comes up our street , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

    Leap of reality. First thing, you foul the carrier. Drop back and slosh a beer and return to block the free kick. Am I right or am I right?

    Ale out of a can? Only as a last resort, and then it must be poured into a glass.

    You can tell a lot about a man by how well he sticks to his priorities.

    I love the sound of cans being cracked open. In fact when I’ve been on the phone with Gweedo, I’ve told him to listen out for the sound of me “cracking open a cold one” but in my case it’s a soft drink. Not alcohol.

    @Afficionado

    Hey, Affie.

    What I’m about to tell you is not me showing off or boasting. It’s the truth: I get a lot of male attention. So I often wonder if I’m God’s gift to men? Joking obviously. I personally don’t think I’m anything special. I’m very friendly and sociable even though I’m fairly introverted. Some introverts do have good social skills.

    Today I visited a beautiful town called Jesmond in Newcastle upon Tyne, I went there on the train. I’ve gone past it but I’ve never actually been there for a walk around. I visited a pub called “The Lonsdale” if Eldo would like to look that up. There will be photos on Google Maps. However I was rather shocked that a pint of Coke there was £3.20. It’s £2.80 at the pub in my town. Ah, well. Still an enjoyable and pleasant visit.

    Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

    That sound’s to be heard at my place nearly every summer day at around sunset. It’ll be me feeding the slugs that come into the veg bed at night. Today I filled all the little traps following a shower of rain, only to have it rain again after dark. All diluted, two cans wasted…will try again tomorrow.
