Awa but dad ,quoted from homesick.com” Cashmere fragrances smell like cashmere fabric feels against your skin. These scents are soft and warm, with musky notes that hint at the utmost luxury and sophistication. Vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood base notes lay the foundation for top notes of lime, mandarin and musk. Yip yip yip yip yip

My MIL gave me a lovely, hand-made Flower Garden quilt. The day our dog chewed off one corner I found it VERY hard to find him cute. He was lucky he didn’t go to the moon.

And they are big enough to dig for the really expensive shoes. Natural leather is irresistible. Spit out the little buckle… or wait a few days.

Molly the Lab is 9 and still a cutie. Natasha was a cutie to then at 14. They never really outgrow it.

Many years ago we had a 2-3 year old female Rottweiler who thought any time she heard the car keys, she got to go. One day I was headed to an appointment and I didn’t take her. She got mad at me, destroyed a rented VHS tape (I did say it was many years ago), a book I was reading and my glasses. All stuff that was in my wife’s observation, things which were mine; none of my wife’s things were touched.

My wife suggested I take her for a drive and I did. That drive mollified the dog and calmed me down. When we got back, she went back to being the lovable pup she had been. Dogs are funny creatures and I sure miss her.

We lost her at age 15, a week after my dad died. A one-two punch to be sure.

When my dog was a puppy, she only liked to chew on ham bones and shred her stuffed toys…my cat, when she was a kitten, loved to chew up my head phones and also liked chewing holes into my socks!

Our last dog died many years past, a very long-lived Sheltie at 17. But each one lives on in our hearts, in photos and in the chew marks they left behind on furniture legs. Sheltie number 2 ate the top edge of the back of the couch. That we replaced (I never liked that couch.)
