For comics for the blind, try David Morgan-Mar's webcomics. These come with vision-impaired transcripts (not really meant for blind people, but often detailed enough to show the joke).

Richard Dawkins was the author of “The Selfish Gene.” It basically said that people behave the way they do in order to reproduce their genetic material. The book was first published in the mid-1970s. That’s why Gene in the comic is interested in her reproductive robustness.
