My neighbor across the street always wins 1st or 2nd place for decorations. The lights keep my bedroom bright enough to read in bed. And, my steep driveway keeps me in the house if thereâs ice or snow. Trying to get out would probably take out a snowman, an angel, Santa and his sleigh and at least two reindeer.
thereâve been two stories so far about geezers who got up on a ladder to shovel the roof and managed to tip the ladder over, injuring themselves badly in the fall. and several stories about folks getting buried in snow falling from the roofâŚ

The ground here is always muddy or icy most of the winter. I quit hanging lights where I would have to use a ladder.

I have some stand up outdoor decor (dog, snowman, tree). Garland lights go on the porch rail using cable ties. No ladder needed.
