As a young adult I lived with my husband in a little old farmhouse with no near neighbors except the elderly couple who lived up the driveway. I first saw the original “Night of the Living Dead” on a winter night in that farmhouse. Freaked the bejabbers out of me. To this day I only watch the beginning (“They’re coming to GET you , Bar-ba-ra”).
